Fall Family Photos - Apple Picking in Julian, CA
When fellow photographer, and good friend, Olguta, suggested we go apple picking for some family photos I could not contain my excitement! Apple picking?!?! Who knew we could go DO such a thing!? How fun! Oh, and I am not normally a "prop" person (I have only a couple baskets and blankets I use for my newborn work), but I just happened to have the most perfect Prop for the occasion too!
Shooting another photographer's family is hard enough (no pressure or anything right) but add to that blaring mid-afternoon sun (Volcan Valley Apple Farm closes at 5:00) and a scorching 100 degree heat wave and this was one tough shoot! But they were all great sports, and little Jacob, cheeks flushed adorably pink from the heat, had a wonderful time picking the apples and running around the farm! Plus, isn't Mama just stunning??? My gosh I really do have the best looking families!! <3
